    Test Description

    Cytotoxic Food Sensitivity, Individual

The sensitized cells react with a specific allergen (purified antigen and additives). The reaction is a combination delayed (Type IV) and immediate (Type I) reaction. Allergic reactions are read under a light microscope at 400x power. The results are graded as negative (same as negative control), plus 1, plus 2, plus 3 and plus 4.

Note: A personalized profile may be created by requesting any combination of food antigens listed in the Standard List #1 or Standard List #2 (i.e. may be ordered individually from either list).
