    A few months ago I tested positive to a wheat sensitivity and was told that I had to give up wheat in order to fix some GI issues I was having. But it certainly isn't easy!! I love bread and cakes and pasta. It has become an internal struggle to do what I know is right vs doing what I know is tasty. But I read Wheat Belly and it really explained what wheat is doing to me. It was like a light switch that was like "duh. I need to change my habits" and it's made it much easier to switch to GF foods. I'm not perfect, I still eat wheat more than I should. But it's a process. Because of this book and other research it's becoming a lifestyle choice based on knowledge vs a diet restriction that I suffer with.
